The Great Southern Killarney left a strong impression on me. The location is prime, just a short walk from everything I wanted to visit. I particularly loved the Victorian Suite. The luxurious bedding and well-thought-out amenities. The robes provided were comfortable, and having on-site parking was really convenient for our day trips. I enjoyed the spa treatments too. They felt almost lavish. I did experience a few hiccups. The TV channels were limited, only available through saorview, disappointing. There wasn't even an option for streaming services like Netflix. The food quality varied a bit during certain times. The decor in some areas felt a bit dated, which didn't match the rest of the hotel's charm. Despite these minor inconveniences, I would highly recommend this hotel for its elegance and overall comfort.

luxurious stay but minor issue with room cleaning
The Victorian Suite was fine! The luxurious bedding and robes. I particularly enjoyed the on-site parking with easy access for our day trips. The breakfast selection was also excellent with numerous tasty options, elevating our mornings.
The housekeeping services could have been more thorough.

Enjoyed a two-night stay with my family. The location was fantastic, allowing easy access to the town's attractions. I appreciated that the breakfast offered a good variety and featured freshly baked pastries. Our room was spacious and provided a cozy atmosphere for a family getaway. The service at the restaurant was slower than expected during our visit.

The stay was all too short but enjoyed the experience and would recommend hotel to friends.
While outside the hotel's area of control, the apparent lack of discretion by the Parking Company supervising the front precints of the complex is a negative. I was unable to secure parking in the hotel car park on night of arrival as it was full and found a parking space directly beside the front of the hotel. A parking ticket was issued at 10.05 a.m. the following morning. This additional expenditure on the trip copuld have been better spent elsewhere.
